| "Australian GTP production team, Protecnica Racing, announced this
week that they will switch to an EcuTeK enhanced OEM ECU for the
remainder of the race season. Team Owner Scott Anderson, runs 3 cars in
the championship, two Impreza STi's and a GT Liberty Turbo. Extensive
testing, both on the track and on the chassis dyno www.mrtrally.com.au/performance/DynaPack.htm at MRT performance, not only proved the car/s were faster, but also were safer by being able to utilize the cars OEM ECU functions. "We have done a lot of testing both at events and in private and we have utmost confidence in the features that EcuTeK bring to our team" Scott said. The team also run "Delta Dash In Car Kits", www.ecutek.com.au/Delta-dash_carkit.htm enabling the drivers to monitor ECU functions live, both during events and in testing. With the optional warning features of the units they allow additional benefits, such as high engine temp, overboost and more. Separate to all of this the team, have disabled the stand alone Apexi AVCR boost control system and reverted back to boost controlled via the OEM ECU and tuned using EcuTeK Software. "The boost control we have now is rock solid and at the exact maximum of what we can run in the class, the AVCR was very good but we could never quite achieve what we now have with the EcuTeK enhanced ECU " team owner Scott Said. EcuTeK chief Australian tuner, Paul Fisher will attend the remainder of the events with the team, ensuring they have the edge they need to bring even more positive results. |
